Dear Families of Douglas County High School's Class of 2024-
As we have planned many past commencement exercises for DCHS, the one thing we could never account for was the weather. We have had ceremonies in the blistering heat, horrific wind storms, snow before, during and after and everything in between. Thus, this year, the DCHS graduation organizing committee set out to find a venue that would alleviate any and all of those uncontrollable parts of our ceremony. We are happy to announce that we have found a venue that is climate controlled, equally beautiful and just 20 minutes SOUTH of our campus. Douglas County High School is proud to share that we will be holding our Class of 2024 Graduation Commencement ceremony at the United States Air Force Academy's Clune Arena (inside the Cadet Fieldhouse - (2168 Field House Drive, USAFA, CO 80840). The USAFA is excited to share their beautiful indoor facility with us on our special day, May 22, 2024 at 10:00 am.
More information will be shared out about accessing the USAFA, parking, what is permitted into the building and most important, TICKETS allocated based on your senior's homeroom attendance. All of this will be communicated out after Spring Break in late March 2024.
We hope you are as excited as we are about this amazing opportunity to celebrate our deserving seniors. We hope you have a wonderful rest of the first semester as the second will fly by so fast so be sure to keep up with the information that is shared out about ALL THINGS SENIOR YEAR.
